The Energizing Power of Gratitude and Giving
Join us as we discuss the impact of gratitude and giving with Gina Tesla, Coupa Software’s VP of Sustainability, Social Impact, and DEI. She will share her insights, real life use cases, tips and strategies for how you can incorporate these powerful forces into your life, your team, and your organization.
November 2023
As the world becomes increasingly more challenging, two forces offer a way to create rays of light, positivity, and belonging - gratitude and giving.
We have all had moments, especially in the last few years, where we may feel like something is lacking, get lost in all the negative news and events, or get so wrapped up in the busyness of life that all the good deeds and intentions we had planned get left to the wayside.
Both gratitude and giving have proven impact to wellbeing, resilience, fulfillment, and performance. Gratitude gives us perspective as it encourages us to look at situations more broadly. Giving is not only great for the people you help, but actually impacts your brain! Neuroscience shows us that giving is powerful in creating more personal joy, improving overall health, and even combating stress - and who doesn’t want some of that!
Together, they can help you forge a meaningful and well-lived life, create better connections and a higher sense of belonging, and create moments that live beyond you to strengthen the world.
Join us as we openly and candidly explore and discuss:
The science behind gratitude and giving
The impact to wellbeing, engagement, and performance
How any person, team, or organization can get involved, even with limited resources

Keeping Your Head in the Game.
With Bubba Paris, a powerful and actionable conversation about how to stay focused, combat everyday stressors, and achieve your dreams.
September 2023
As we battle uncertainties on every level, including social, political, environmental, and economical, resilience has become even more important to living a well and successful life. While resilience can help you through the larger intense moments and unforeseen events that life throws at you, such as layoffs, everyday resilience can help you get through the daily challenges, that can otherwise leave you feeling depleted, unmotivated and, over time, burnt out.
To perform well at a meeting, even though you had an argument with your partner that morning. To take control of your choices, even when you feel like everything is stacked against you. To focus your mind, even though there are so many distractions.
Every day resilience is the key to effectively navigating adversity, handling daily setbacks and managing stress and uncertainty. It is the skill that will allow you to continue to see the possibilities, perform at your best and deliver, in the face of everyday or routine challenge and strain.
In this chat we discuss:
How to stay focused in stressful situations
The drivers of everyday resilience
How to keep going when the going gets tough

What the V? The Difference Between Being Healthy and Being Vital.
With Dr. Allan Mishra, Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, Founder VitalityExplorers.com, Author Dare to Be Vital
July 2023
There is so much individual and organizational emphasis and spend on wellbeing and health, yet burnout, stress, and dis-engagement continue to be at worrying levels. The key to this gap could very well lie in the difference between aiming for being healthy and aiming for being vital. While health can be described as being free from illness, it may not be enough. If you take it a step further, you may be looking at wellness, the state of being in good physical and mental health. But, if you want to truly thrive and live a fulfilling and productive life, then vitality should be a part of your plans. Vitality is a state of being vibrant, energized, and living with a passion for the things we are doing.
In this chat we:
Explore the difference between health and vitality
Look at the keys to living an optimal life
Learn steps to create a vital team and organization

Mind the Gap!
With Pascale Royal, Senior Manager, Customer Advocacy and Retention, F5
June 2023
While many organizations are focused on winning in the business sense, when employee wellbeing is not truly understood, these wins come at a cost. A cost that is paid by the employee themselves, as well as the organization. The sad fact is that many employees are depleted from constant change and crises. And organizations see the impact in productivity, engagement, talent attrition, and profitability.
In this world, there is no business as usual. While, yes, we need to drive revenue and create thriving businesses, this can only happen when we have thriving employees. It’s time to acknowledge the gap. The gap in leadership skill sets to lead effectively in this environment, the empathy gap, and the perception gap between what we say we want to be and what we are actually being.
In this chat we:
Explore how these gaps affect the everyday worker
Look at why the old leadership playbooks do no work any more
Learn what each of us can do about it, across all levels of business
